Graham Regional Theatre
Several articles online indicate that summer camp signups are unusually high this year across America, and Graham Regional Theatre’s (GRT) summer camp is no exception. Popular demand has the theatre conducting not one, but TWO, summer theatre camps with the first being Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Kids. Consisting of students 2nd – 7th grade, the cast spent June 1-4 rehearsing for the final performances that were held on Friday, June 4 and Saturday, June 5.
Included in the production cast for Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Kids were the following children with ties to Olney: Carson Kidd as Pooh’s Tummy, Jessa Branum as a Bee and Piper Meschkat, Laney Kimbro and Isabel Piegat were part of the ensemble, animal chorus and word chorus. Together they joined more than 40 fellow cast and crew members on stage to present Graham Regional Theatre’s performance of Disney’s Winnie the Pooh Kids, directed by Christian Sanders.

OVERVIEW
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit, and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course... sharing snacks. (production.pro/show/winnie-the-pooh)

The second summer theatre camp, Disney’s Frozen Jr., (which was performed by students 9th-12th grade and 2021 graduates) spent June 7-11 rehearsing for the performances held June 11-12. Coming up June 25-27 is GRT’s performance of Into the Woods at Graham Memorial Auditorium – Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

Online ticket sales close 1 hour before each performance. Tickets can also be purchased an hour prior to curtain at the box office. All seats are reserved, and tickets will be held at will call.
