Graham hosts health fair

Graham Regional Medical Center hosted its annual health fair Saturday July 21, 2018, at the Young County Arena in Graham, Texas.

More than 30 vendors were offering a variety of information and services. Attendees were able to get free blood work, eye exams, blood pressure and hearing tests.

Some of the vendors in attendance included:

Graham Urgent Care

Graham Urgent Care medical staff Rachael Creel, Kelly Lee, and Samantha Purdy greeted visitors with a smile and provided information about the myriad of services offered by the urgent care center. The clinic handles emergencies that are not life-threatening; This includes accidents, falls, bleeding, broken bones, and high fever among other urgent medical needs. Booth visitors conversed with the staff about the benefits of urgent care as opposed to care provided by hospital emergency room (ER) physicians.

In addition to learning about urgent care, nurse practitioner and dermatologist Kelly Lee discussed the importance of skin care, and she provided samples of Epionce Skin Care, founded by Dr. Thornfeldt in 2002. Lee recommends this skincare line to her patients. The mini kits included samples of the Lytic Gel Cleanser, Lytic Sport Tx and Renewal Lite Facial Lotion. Lee will present additional information about these products at the grand opening of Olney Heritage Museum later this year.
