Food Bank Fight

Food Bank Fights Hunger in Olney

The Wichita Falls Area Food Bank continues to fight hunger in Olney and across our 12-county area in North Texas where over 39,000 individuals including 1 in 4 children struggle with hunger. In Young County, 3,060 neighbors struggle to put food on their tables. The Food Bank, our team, volunteers, and community partners continue to work together to ensure nourishing food is provided to feed our neighbor’s minds, bodies, and spirits and provide the opportunity to lead healthier and thriving lives.

The WFAFB operates a network of 92 partner organizations, including food pantries, soup kitchens, and shelters. These vital partners work diligently to ensure that food distributed goes directly to those who need it most. Our Partnership with the Ministry of Helps in Olney works to alleviate hunger and creates a safety net for families and seniors, helping them regain stability and dignity during challenging times.

Our neighbors we serve depend on your generous support. Donations of food, dollars, and volunteer time help to meet the growing hunger needs especially during this holiday season. Every contribution, no matter how big or small, plays a significant role in feeding our hungry neighbors.

We invite you to get involved whether by volunteering, donating, or simply spreading the word.

You can make a difference so that no one in our 12-county service area goes hungry.
