First-day filers kickoff the 2020 elections

Young County Republican Chairman Kyle Milam met with the above candidates on the courthouse steps Saturday November 9 for the first day to file for a place on the March 3, 2020 Republican Primary election ballot.

Filing for re-election are Stephen Bristow, District Judge; Dee Peavy, District Attorney; Travis Babcock, County Sheriff; Christopher Baran, County Attorney; Mike Sipes, County Commissioner Pct. 1; Stacey Rogers, County Commissioner Pct. 3; Tommy Martin, Constable Pct. 1; Cliff Blackstock, Constable Pct. 3.

Non-incumbents filing for office are Christy Centers running for County Tax Collector/Assessor and Stacy Creswell running for County Commissioner Pct. 1.
