Fire Rocks Over Yonder RV Park

On September 22, the Olney Volunteer Fire Department[OVFD] quickly responded to a structure fire at the Over Yonder RV Park in Olney. The quick response of the OVFD turned what could have been a multi-unit fire into a single structure fire.

The RV was quickly engulfed in flames due to an electrical short from a refrigerator, according to fire investigator Officer Dustin Hudson.

Officer Hudson is an Olney Police Officer and also received special training to investigate arson and fires.

Hudson said his preliminary investigation pointed to the short in the refrigerator due possibly to mice chewing on wires.
