The long-awaited first great grandchild of the Perry’s, Isabel Piegat, was born January 4, while Evelyn Altmiller, best friends with Carla Perry, share the same birthdate. Evelyn considered this day a good opportunity to call attention to their special day, and the two have continued to share gifts and laughs for the past 13 years. This recent birthday visit sparked memories of the olden days, and Evelyn continues to enjoy visits from family and friends. She is very blessed to have a son and daughter-in-law—Desley and Sherry Altmiller— who live here in Olney and are very attentive to her.
