Early Voting Begins This Week

A steady stream of Olney voters went to the polls for the first day of in-person voting at the Olney Community Library and Arts Center on Monday, Oct. 21.

The library is the only polling place for early voting in Olney.

Voters are permitted to cast ballots at the Graham polling location during early voting, which extends until Friday, Nov. 1, the Young County Elections Supervisor said.

The Graham polling locations is at the Courthouse Annex at 417 Second St.

Hours for early voting are: - 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the week of Oct. 21; - 7 a.m.-7 p.m. on Saturday Oct. 26; - 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 27; - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the final week of early voting, Oct. 28-Nov. 1.

On election day Nov. 5 -- polling locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Those polling locations are: North Central Texas College at 928 Cherry St. in Graham; Olney Community Library and Arts Center at 807 Hamilton St. in Olney Loving Volunteer Fire Department at 8891 State Highway 114 East in Loving First Baptist Church in Newcastle at 501 Graham St.

First United Methodist Church at 700 Third St. in Graham.

For those who cannot vote in person, Oct. 25 is the last day to apply for a ballot by mail.
