Drew Springer comes to Olney

Texas State Representative for House District 68 Drew Springer visited Olney on Tuesday, Oct. 2. Springer met Olney citizens at the Olney Elementary Cafeteria to discuss legislate issues such as property taxes, school safety, mental health services and 2nd amendment rights.

Following his presentation, citizens were given the opportunity to ask Springer questions and share their ideas on legislative issues.

“Holding town halls is a great way to engage with the citizens of House District 68, one-on-one and in their hometowns,” Springer said in a press release.

Springer currently serves as Vice-Chairman for the House Committee on County Affairs and is also a member of the House Ways and Means Committee.
