Cubs Hoopers Prep for Success

The Olney basketball program has been amazing these past few years.

Head Basketball Coach Eric Symank and the Olney basketball boys have been dedicating time and effort into that sport in season and off season.

Coach Symank expects a lot of this team this year.

“We are returning all but one of our varsity players from last year, so I am looking forward to continuing on what we built last year,” Symank said.

Coach Symank knows what this team can accomplish and the places this team can go. He has some big goals for the team as a whole.

“Our goal is always to win,” he said. “I truly believe that with the group we have this year, we should be in the playoffs, and once the playoffs start it is all about surviving and advancing.”

The community and all the coaching staff believes in this team. They have the talent and discipline to achieve big things.

Coach Symank ends everything off with a strong GRIT! The boys’ first game was on Nov. 14.
