Cub Spotlight

Jeb Carpenter is a senior at Olney ISD. Jeb plans to attend Midwestern State University in the fall. He discussed what he would major in and his potential career plans. “I plan to major in computer science and become a video game designer,” Carpenter said. One of the highlights of his high school career was “the fun we had on the state robotics trip,” he stated. Jeb has been involved in UIL robotics, UIL Science, UIL Computer Science, and National Honor Society. Jeb discussed his favorite high school moments--including spending time with the friends he has made in Olney over the years and all of the work he has put in for graduation this spring. Carpenter wanted to give advice to younger students, stating to “be yourself-you are good enough.” Jeb will graduate in May.
