Cpl. Wright, K9 Bond compete in Wichita Falls

Olney Police Cpl. Miranda Wright and her partner K9 Officer Bond traveled to Wichita Falls to be judged and certified by the United States Police Canine Association to keep up with K-9 standards. Cpl. Wright and Officer Bond train for countless hours to make sure that they can safely dispatch to any situation needing the expertise of a trained K9 officer. Cpl. Wright and Bond have made countless drug arrests since first teaming up in the Olney Police Department.

The Young County K9 officers and their handlers competed against teams from across the United States this year.
