Council finalizes contract on roll-off dumpsters

The City Council unanimously approved a contract with Waste Connections to rent large rollaway dumpsters to residents doing home remodeling or construction at the May 9 meeting. The contract allows residents to order the industrial-size dumpsters at City Hall for about $500 per piece, less than half the price that Waste Connections charges other customers, said Interim City Administrator Arpegea Pagsuberon. The fee covers delivery, rental and pick up, she said.
