Chamber Halloween parade, Trunk or Treat bring out crowds

The annual Chamber Halloween Parade & Trunk or Treat was a complete success this year. With more costume-clad Olneyites attending each year, this popular Olney Chamber Event continues to grow and become the highlight of October. Attendees dressed in all manner of scary and sometimes cute costumes marched down Main Street Olney to the Pavillion where brightly decorated trunks filled to the brim with candy and treats awaited excited trick or treaters.

This year, the Olney Chamber streamlined the event by only having a trunk decorating contest and forgoing the costume contest of previous years.

Winners this year included: 1st-place, Interbank’s Hawaiian theme; 2nd-place, Olney Police Department’s Beetlejuice theme, and 3rd-place, Branum Law Office’s Pirates of the Caribbean theme.
