Chamber’s Tree Lighting

The First Annual Jingle Bell Fun Run went off without a hitch on Nov. 27, with a gaggle of kids strapping on jingle bells to make the 1-mile jaunt down the brick streets of North Olney, courtesy of the Olney Chamber of Commerce. Afterward, the crowd moved to the Gazebo in downtown Olney for “the lighting of the largest Christmas tree on State Highway 114,” as well as photos with Santa, caroling, and kids’ dance performances in ballet, tap, and jazz. The event was sponsored by Olney Fuel & Supply/ Don’s Butane.
