Carol Glover’s fall recital showcases the talented youth of Olney

Carol Glover’s fall recital was Sunday, Nov. 3 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church. The showcase included the following students in order of performance: Jacob Huitt, Carson Kidd, Hope Schoenhals, Caroline Stewart, Ava Stewart, Piper Meschkat, Grace Homan, Sophia Purdy, Ace Pitcock, Caroline Armstrong, Miles Branum, Davis Schoenhals, Cooper Pitcock, Beckett Schoenhals, Isabel Piegat, Lucas Todd, Kollin Green, Tillee Bardwell, Jackson Kidd, Lily Biebighauser, Jayden Harrell, Suzette Stovall and Mia Heartfield.

The songs showcased included: Olson’s “Fancy Fade-Out” performed by Jake Huitt; Glover’s “Skin and Bones” performed by Sopha Purdy and Ace Pitcock; Faber’s “Half Time Show” performed by Sophia Purdy; Faber’s “Classic Dance” performed by Ace Pitcock; Gilcock’s “Glass Beads” and Faber’s “Young Hunter” performed by Caroline Armstrong; Bober’s “Blues Band” performed by Miles Branum; Bober’s “Basketball Star” performed by Davis Schoenhals; Bober’s “Goosebump Boogie” performed by Cooper Pitcock; Faber’s “Jazz Blast” and “When the Saints Go Marching In” performed by Beckett Schoenhals; Alexander’s “Three-Legged Witch” and Babcok’s “This is My Father’s World” performed by Isabel Piegat; Vandall’s “Graceful Waltz” performed by Lucas Todd; Bober’s “Loco-Motive” performed by Kollin Green; David Carr Glover’s “Evening Concerto 1” performed by Tillee Bardwell; Coates’ “Inspector Cool” performed by Jackson Kidd; David Carr Glover’s “The Great Smoky Mountains” performed by Lily Biebighauser; Stevens’ “Loch Ness Quest” performed by Jayden Harrell; Bober’s “Midnight Ride” performed by Suzette Stovall and Stevens’ “Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee” performed by Mia Heartfield.

The primer students are Carson Kidd, Hope Schoenhals, Caroline Stewart, Ava Stewart, Piper Meschkat and Grace Homan.

The next recital will be held in March 2020.
