Candidates Announce Intent to Run for Office in March

On Saturday, November 13, eight prospective candidates met with Young County Republican Chair Kyle Milam to announce their intent to file for a place on the ballot in the Republican Primary Election to be held March 1st, 2022.

The prospective candidates are Win Graham seeking County Judge, Jamie Land seeking re-election to District Clerk, Joey Stewart seeking Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, Jimmy Wiley seeking re-election to County Commissioner Precinct 4, Matt Pruitt seeking re-election to County Commissioner Precinct 2, Kay Hardin seeking re-election to County Clerk, Jason Hearne seeking re-election to Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, and Scott Shook seeking County Commissioner Precinct 2.
