Atmos donates to local groups

It was a wonderful week, as Pam Hughes Pak with Atmos Energy delivered donations to two great organizations as a part of their Fueling Safe and Thriving Communities Initiative.

First Step provides service to those who have suffered from physical and sexual assault. The organization provides education as well as shelter for those in need as they transition to a healthier, abuse-free future. The $1000 donation will provide food at the shelter.

The Arts Council WF is multifaceted with a focus on the arts. The $1000 donation will be used for summer education programs for children.

First Step and the Arts Council serve 12 counties. Mutually they serve Archer, Baylor, Clay, Foard, Hardeman, Jack, Montague, Wichita, and Wilbarger Counties. First Step also serves Knox and Throckmorton Counties while the Arts Council also serves Childress, Cottle, and Young Counties.
