Arrest Made During Routine Stop

 The Young County Sheriff’s Office made a routine traffic stop on a rental truck Wednesday, Dec. 12, in Olney. After the officer noticed suspicious behavior, he called a canine officer in to search for illegal drugs. The officer searched the suspect and found him to be in possession of marijuana. He was arrested on possession of marijuana and possession of dangerous drugs.

The Young County Sheriff’s Office has been helping the Olney Police Force until Olney can hire additional officers.
