Area College Students Earn Dean List for Spring
Graduates of Olney High School and Newcastle High School earned places on the Dean’s Lists at the University of Arkansas and Angelo State University for the spring semester.
Camden Thorne of Olney has earned a place on the University of Arkansas Dean’s List for the Spring 2026 semester.
Mr. Thorne was recognized after earning a grade-point average between 3.75 and 3.99 while completing at least 12 credit hours required for graduation during the spring semester.
Allison House of Olney and Mc-Carson Youngblood of Newcastle were both named to the Dean’s List at Angelo State University in San Angelo. Both students are majoring in Interdisciplinary Studies, a program often chosen by future educators and students pursuing careers that require a broad academic foundation.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, fulltime undergraduate students must earn a grade-point average of at least 3.25 on a 4.0 scale while completing a full course load during the semester.
