Amity Club installs new officers

The Amity Club met at noon at the Olney Heritage Museum for a Salad Luncheon. Such scrumptious salads!!! Present were Evelyn Altmiller, Judy Averett, Rita Choat, Rita Honey, JoAn Key, Ann Lundy, Kristy Nantz, Marilyn Norris, Margie Snyder, Jeanie Spivey, Donna Sullivan, LucretiaTaylor, Phyllis Whitsitt, Judi Winslow and Bobby Wright. In the absence of our President, Gail Spears, Ann Lundy stepped up to officiate our short meeting. Ann reviewed the year of great programs we all enjoyed this past year.

Following our delicious lunch was the installation of newly elected officers by Jeanie Spivey. President: Ann Lundy, First vice president: Phyllis Whitsitt, second vice president: Margie Snyder, Recording Secretary: Nita Hearne, Corresponding Secretary: Marilyn Norris, Treasurer: Lucretia Taylor, and Reporter: JudiWinslow. To plan our programs for the coming year will be Marilyn Norris, Evelyn Altmiller and Rita Choat. Phyllis Whitsitt will be in charge of Membership. After camaraderie, we will be getting back together in September.
