“All Have Sinned”
“ The Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.” 1 John 4:14 NASBS
Dear reader, what a glorious thought it is to think of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who is fully God, clothed Himself in the frailty of human flesh to come into the world to save sinners of which I am the foremost. You see, everyone has broken God’s perfect law inwardly, for the scriptures tell us, “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” That is, from the least to the greatest of all men, all have been pronounced guilty and have been sentenced to eternal punishment. The infinite God, Who is just in all of His ways, cannot wink at the slightest of all sins.” The human heart is tainted with sin. Blood guiltiness has been charged against us, and there is no escape in and of ourselves. The sentence has been set, and The Almighty, Who will judge all humanity according to His perfect righteousness, has sharpened the arrow and bent the bow. There is a day of judgment coming when He will make His arrows drunk with the blood of all who reject Him as He treads them in the winepress of His wrath. For apart from His divine mercy that is bestowed upon those who come to Him through His only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, all will perish. Just as the scriptures tell us, “The Father has sent the Son to be the Savior of the world.
Reader, you will not stand in the heavenly courtroom of God’s perfect justice system and be acquitted of one hidden sin that was manifested in your heart that no one else knows about but you. There are even things that you would be ashamed of making known to the public in fear of being rejected or being called perverse in your thinking. As a matter of fact, this should become evident to you that your heart is wicked and that you need a Savior. Therefore, my friend, I beg you to consider your own heart.
You would not want anyone acquitted who has wronged you in a court of law; how much more then will God, Who is perfect, award to you with what is due. I appeal to you to turn with your heart to Jesus Christ, for God the Father sent His own Son, Jesus, in the likeness of sinful flesh and as an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh so that the requirements of the law might be fulfilled in you. Jesus fulfilled the law of God perfectly and is the just and the justifier for all who humble themselves and come to Him in faith and repentance. Reader, Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and He was buried, and He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures. He appeared to the Apostles and more than five hundred people at one time and has left us the Bible that we may know Him. It is true, and your only hope is in Jesus Christ and His righteousness. May God draw you to see His Son dying for your sins today.
