Cub Nutrition and Energy, Olney’s newest business, is set to open Friday July 3 just in time to help get the community energized with their healthy protein shakes and energy teas for the Fourth of July.
Neil and Barbara Larimore are celebrating 65 years of marriage. They married on June 25th, 1955, in First Baptist Church, and have lived a wonderful life through the years in Olney.
I lost my son in 2012, and already fighting depression, it became worse every year. Last year it got the best of me and I did not want to live anymore. I thought I was just hurting myself, but I was hurting everyone who cares about me, and for that I am very sorry. I turned to alcohol and it made everything much much worse in every way. I lost all my friends and even my family for a while. I put myself in a faith-based place called the House of Mercy in Olney Tx. It’s ran by an amazing man named Preston Crow, who has a gift for teaching the Bible just as it is written, and truly loves God. I learned more about God and His word than I ever dreamed of. The first three months was very hard for me. I stayed seven and a half months and it completely changed my life. I have been home for a few months now and will always keep working on being a better person, for God, my family, my friends, and myself. I just want to thank God for a new life and a new mindset.
May 14th Stewarts helped Penny Molina celebrate his 40th year with Stewart’s Grocery Store. Molina was presented a beautiful plaque and clock as well as some delicious cake
