Young County Commissioner’s Court, Oct. 14
Commmissioner’s Court of Young Country was held on Tuesday, Oct. 14. There were several things discussed on the agenda, with the main topics of discussion being the Blossom Foundation that was just brought to Graham with Naresh Raman. The court then discussed the receipts of Hotel Occupancy Tax with the Wildcatter Ranch & Resort, as well as from the Ingleside Ranch.
The court considered the Treasures Financial Report, as well as following up with the Updates on Securities Pledged. Next up was the Auditors Budget Amendments and the Vouchers Payable…discussing the Maintenance Contract with Carrier Commercial Services for Heating Boiler Burner Cleaning at $1.687.77. The Employee Bond was then discussed with Theresa Grimes and the Young County Community Supervision & Correction Department at $5,000.
The court later considered the Tax Resale Deeds from PerdueBrandonCollins&Mott,LLP: with 104 E. Bloodworth, Olney, Texas-Bid $1,000- AV $2,000, 710 N. Avenue F, Olney, Texas- Bid $1,000- AV $1,000, Behind 307 Wade, Olney Texas-Bid $1,000- AV $2,800. Later on, the court talked about the Holding Joint Primary Election and Resolution, HART Intercivic Extended Warranty Quote for Elections Equipment with VR Voter Focus System License and Maintenance…which ended up being talked about for awhile before taking a break for about an hour and a half into the meeting. The court picked up considering Resolutions supporting Texas Feeding Texans Program, with two resolutions on the agenda for the Young County Olney Senior Cub Center, Inc. at $350, and Young County Senior Citizens Association, Inc., being set at $850.
