The Sibley’s visit Olney

Olney Enterprise Publisher Ronni Walker gave her older brother Dr. Billy Sibley and his wife Minister Rosalind Sibley a tour of Olney during their visit last weekend. Rosalind is a minister and worship leader, and Dr. Sibley is the assistant pastor and minister of music at Grace and Compassion Church in Baton Rouge, LA where they reside with their three children and three grandchildren.

“Olney is a lovely town. Stewarts Food Store is the first place we visited the day we arrived. The people are friendly. It reminded me of the small town where I grew up,” said Dr. Sibley.

The couple spent their last day with Rodney and Kristy Nantz at The Refuge. The Sibleys commented on the impressive layout of the facility and the feeding program.

“The Refuge is something that every town needs. I love the two gyms with space for conferences, and I love the video gaming room. This appears to be a safe place for children where they can learn about God,” Min. Rosalind said.

The next stop on the tour was the House of Mercy. Trena Crow showed off the facility and discussed the organization’s programs and mission. Dirk Barrington joined the Sibleys for a photo at the end of the tour.
