During Dec. 10 through Dec. 13, Olney Elementary School children will receive a free paperback book at the Olney Community Library. Guidance Oil Developers partnered with Olney Community Library to make this donation possible. The library staff said they are thankful for Raymond Lundsford and Cully Williams for the sponsorship and their commitment.
Students may choose a book during their library class time. The selections include fiction, nonfiction and picture books.
The purpose of the book distribution program is to promote reading as an enjoyable and important activity; not just a chore or a requirement. This program will help students experience the adventures books provide.
