Olney rocks to Race Ricketts at Legion concert

Olney native Race Ricketts and his bandmates Presley Haile and Nick Brumley rocked the American Legion in Olney on Friday night at the first of a series of concerts.

The concert was sponsored by Stewart’s Food Store and Archer and Gunn Mercantile, with help from 3T Meats in selling tickets.

Funds raised by the concert go toward Legion programs and into a fund to pay for future concerts, Luke Leonard, Sons of the American Legion member said.

All three musicians have songs on the charts and each is set to release an album this spring, Mr. Ricketts said.

The Legion spruced up its hall with a brand new stage featuring LED lights.
