Olney P.D. Makes Drug Bust!

On 10/22/20, an Olney Police Officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle that resulted in a pursuit. The pursuit terminated in Seymour when the suspects crashed their truck and fled on foot. After a brief search, one suspect was taken into custody. The other suspect was taken into custody approximately an hour and a half later with the assistance of a Texas Game Warden drone. As a result, two felons, one with a parole warrant, were taken into custody. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered several firearms, one of which was stolen, methamphetamines, mushrooms, marijuana, Xanax and Oxycodone. Between the two suspects, 17 felony charges were or will be filed.
