Olney 4-H Gives Back

A small group of gals from the Olney 4-H gathered together to clean up Restland Cemetery. According to Lindsey Hickam, who is a leader with the Olney 4-H group, the 4-H members participated in this community service project on Oct. 7th as part of National 4-H Week.

Each member split into sections to follow social distance and bagged debris, and limbs. “This is another example of what 4-H is about, to give back to the community, it is to form better leaders and citizens for our future, even if it involves a little work. The kids also have a huge sense of accomplishing something that improves their community and at the end of the day they did just that.” The Olney 4-H club meets every 1st Thursday of the month.
