Old Time Cafe opens on Main Street for breakfast, lunch

Olney Auto Tire & Truck Service’s Jackie and Freddie Voyles and Jackie’s father Ronnie Griffith opened a new business on Saturday Old Time Cafe at 111. W. Main St.

The cafe will serve home-style breakfast and lunch every day but Tuesday, open 6 a.m. -2 p.m.

The rigorous licensing and inspection process prompted Mrs. Voyles to ask the City Council to inform business owners of code enforcement rules requiring all commercial buildings to have yearly fire inspections.

The Council put the matter on its March 10 agenda.

“I requested it so no other businesses are blindsided,” she said.
