OJH students reach to the STAARs

Olney Junior High had eight seventh grade students qualify to participate in the Duke Talent Identification Program (TIP). They are eligible because they scored in the 95th percentile or better on one or more 6th grade STAAR exams.

The Duke TIP offers high achieving students the opportunity to see just how above grade level they are. They have the opportunity to take college entrance level exams to see how they score against students their age from other states, as well as against national scores and averages of high school students.

The fact that they have qualified for this program alone is outstanding! We are extremely proud of these students and are so excited to show them off!
