OHS Cheerleaders host mini cheer camp

The Olney High School varsity cheer squad hosted their annual two-day mini cheer camp on July 23 and 24. The camp was held at the high school gym and was open to children ranging from three years old to those entering sixth grade. The camp was set to help younger girls learn and practice cheers, dance and chants. On the camp’s first day, the children learned about various routines, which were then put into practice on the second day of camp. Coach Shannon Rodriguez said she hopes to pass on Cub pride and experience to the younger generation.
