The Young County Sherriff’s office was on the scene with the crowd favorite Special Response and Search Unit. Pictured are: Devin Wright, David Crouch, Sherriff Babcock, Brooke Michaels and Joseph Scar. Sherriff Babcock says this is a big meet and greet for the first responders and the community. Sherriff Babcock expressed his appreciation for the support of the Young county community for the law enforcement and first responders.

Olney EMS was represented by Thomas left and Morcom right. Thomas says besides holding snakes they are here to show off their new ambulance and answer any questions the community may have.

Chief Birbeck of the Olney Police Department was happy to take a minute for a photo with fellow officers: Chief Birbeck says National Night Out is the perfect time for the Olney Police Dept. to get out and connect with the community of Olney, to let the community know who we are and what we are about. Chief Birbeck says, “We are more than the ones who show up to calls, we are a part of the community and want to make those connections and build relationships with the community.”

Young County Constable Cliff Blackstock was on hand who stated he was out here Tonight to promote good friendship and comradery between the police and the community

Chris Widner from Widner Productions kept the crowds in the groove for the evening playing a mix of old school and new school music, making announcements and introductions as well.

Mayor Pro Temp Rue Rogers pictured with son says it is tremendous to see the community come out to support all of our first responders. Rogers went on to says he appreciates all they do for our community.
