Morgan Family set to perform at Newcastle Homecoming

The community worship service sponsored by the 2016 Newcastle Homecoming Committee will be held on Sunday morning, Aug. 7, at 10:30 a.m., in the Newcastle School Auditorium. The worship service will conclude the 2016 Newcastle Homecoming, which is held every three years.

The Morgan Family, originally from Newcastle, will be coming home to bring the message for the worship service. The Morgan Family has played and sang at many area jamborees, including the Newcastle Jamboree in the 1990s. 

Shirley Morgan, Cathy Everitt and Eddie Morgan are all graduates of Newcastle High School. They will be joined by Cathy’s husband Gene Everitt and Eddie’s wife Joetta in bringing their message in music.

Everyone is invited to come to the community worship service, as the  2016 Newcastle Homecoming comes to a close.
