Looking Back at Olney: The McClatchy

A year ago this week, the Olney Recreation Association [ORA] celebrated the second annual |The McClatchy” golf tournament at the Olney Country Club. Last year, the tournament, named for late ORA Board President and Olney Mayor Jeff McClatchy saw 65 teams partcipating in the scramble-style tournament.
The third annual “The McClatchy” also boasts a full field of participants for the two-day event, ORA President Landon Rowe said. The tournament begins Friday night at 6 p.m. with a shootout, Mr. Rowe said. The two-person teams will tee off at 8 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. with a fajita bar and Calcutta following the afternoon round.
The title sponsor is Air Tractor, with the Myers family, as the gold family/business sponsor.
