La Esmeralda Easter egg hunt

Children from all over Olney enjoyed a special Easter celebration provided by La Esmeralda, a favorite authentic Mexican restaurant on Main Street. The celebration featured several egghunts, with each age group vying for a secret golden egg that would earn the finder the grand prize of an Easter basket filled with special treats. The celebration also included face painting by Maryann Shackelford, shaved ice, photos with the Easter Bunny, pinatas filled with lots of candy, and plenty of wholesome family fun. La Esmeralda filled over 3,000 eggs with candy and provided cakes and other treats to attendees.
