GRT announces 2025 lineup
The nonprofit Graham Regional Theatre takes the stage for its 2025 season in February with the melodrama “Blazing Guns at Roaring Gulch: Or the Perfumed Badge.”
The troupe started out the season with its annual melodrama in which actors interact with the audience.
The theatre group’s summer youth camp will put on the musical “Seussical Jr.” Registration for the youth camp opens in March, theatre officials said.
Over the summer, the GRT will put on a the family friendly “Matilda the Musical” with roles for children at the Graham Memorial Auditorium, GRT officials said.
In September, the theatre group will stage “Kimberly Akimbo,: a Broadway musical about a teenager girl with a rare condition that causes her to age quickly. The musical won five Tony Awards, including Best Musical.
The group will participate again this year in the “Talking Tombstones” at Oak Grove Cemetery, and will finish its season, as always, with the Christmas classic “A Christmas Carol” at The Perry theatre.
The group also hosts free Trivia Nights and Open Mike Nights at The Perry on weekday nights.
