The Culpepper & Merriweather circus was a hit in Olney

The circus was held on Friday, Oct. 4 by Chamber of Commerce and Culpepper and Merriweather. The circus was considered a major success, with many people coming out to see what is was all about. “We appreciate the sponsors and businesses that bought tickets in advance,” Stacy Wade said. This was considered to be a chamber fundraiser but the chamber of commerce really enjoys bringing new events like this into town. There were a number of people who came out to watch the tent raising, including the head start class pictured below.
