New Restaurant opens to Broaden Olney’s Lunch and Dinner Options

Friday, March. 20, marked the first day of business for Olney’s newest restaurant “Cubs Chicken and Fish” Owner and operator Greg Cotter says he saw a need in Olney and wanted to fill it. Mr. Cotter is in the process of training the general manager, Chris Hargrove to run the day to day operations of Cubs Chicken and Fish. Mr. Cotter will fill the role of Assistant Manager.

Mr. Cotter asked that if you have any issues, please give them a chance to fix it by directly contacting Cubs Chicken and Fish. He goes on to say that Cubs is a new restaurant and will be working out the kinks the first couple of weeks after opening.

Mr. Cotter says what will set them apart is their excellent customer service, great food and involvement in the community. The tempura battered fish will set them apart, as no one else serves it in town. Cubs will also serve traditional catfish as well as southern fried chicken. Their po-boys and waffle fries are sure to be a hit as well.
