Cub Support and Encouragement
Cub fans braved the rain to show their support to the very end of the game on Friday, September 21, at Cub Stadium in Olney. Some of the fans had some comments for the Cubs.
“We are still proud of you,” Chamber of Commerce Director Stacy Wade said. “Keep your heads held high.”
“Keep fighting hard,” Olney Floral employee Tammy Montgomery said. “We are so proud of all you have accomplished so far this year.”
Rodney Nantz provided this quote by Charles Spurgeon as encouragement:
“Hope itself is like a star-not to be seen in the sunshine of victory, and only to be discovered in the night of adversity.”
“Stay the course, never quit, work very very hard at doing what you are taught until it is automatic, and have patience!” said Dr. Greg Roach, Superintendent Olney ISD.
“Every football season, we see the faithful Cub fans out there supporting the team,” said Chad Edgington, President on the Olney Athletics Boosters. “We are there for them win or lose. We have all been thrilled so far to see the squad get a couple of wins. We look forward to more. Personally, I think Coach Guy and his staff are a great fit for our community and we are behind them 100 percent.”
Let’s keep encouraging these players!
