Cribbs among teachers to practice

Southwestern Oklahoma State University’s Department of Education in Weatherford is sending 42 teacher candidates to work with approximately 51 cooperating teachers from 43 different schools in Oklahoma, Texas and Alaska.
Among the teacher candidates is Larry Cribbs of Olney, who will teach at Olney High School. The candidates are doing their practice teaching assignments from Sept. 19 through Dec. 9.
Two of the teacher candidates are majoring in art education, six in early childhood education, 17 in elementary education, one in English education, four in history education, five in kinesiology, two in math education, one in instrumental music education, two in science education and two in Spanish.
