Celebrating Family Smithwick Family Reunion
The 27th H.O. Smithwick Annual Family Reunion was held Aug. 13-15 in Fredericksburg at Inn on Baron Creek.
On Friday and Saturday, members were entertained with golfing, shopping, touring museums and wineries, visiting Luckenbach, dining, swimming and visiting.
On Saturday evening, the family favorite pictures were taken and family members were served a catered barbecue meal in the Brodbeck Room. Dessert included a decorated cake honoring family members with decade birthdays, anniversaries and family graduates.
Birthdays honored were Christopher Ciaccio and Nathan Halfmann (20 years), Rajonia Carnley (60 years) and Janette Ross (80 years).
Anniversary honorees were Sheryl and Joey Ciaccio (30 years) and Howard and Debbie McDaris (30 years). 2021 High School Graduates honored were Makenzie Thrasher of Lake Creek High School in Montgomery, and Paul McDaris of Denison High School. 2021 College Graduates honored were Kimberly Bridgers of Kilgore College (RN), Landon Inge of Vernon College (RN), Morgan Edwards of Texas Tech University (B.S. Mathematics), Heather Holloway of University of Colorado (Midwifery), and Joe Pugliesi (NJACTC Apprenticeship journeyman electrician). Members completed Saturday evening with visiting, playing games and swimming.
