The Olney Community Library sponsored a Summer Reading Bingo for junior high, high school and adult patrons from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Each participant chose a Bingo Card that gave them guidance on what to read over the summer.
There were four levels of Bingo that a patron could achieve, and with each level a prize was given. If a patron achieved a Blackout on their Bingo card, they received an iTunes gift card and their name was put into a drawing to win a Kindle Fire HD 10, donated by Tower Extrusion.
Syndal McClatchy won the Kindle Fire. Other Blackout achievers were Deanna Baran, Alyssa Betts, Janice Rich and Justin Simmons.
Other participants in the Summer Reading Bingo were JoAnn Barnhardt, Laura Dillard, Cristina Gonzales, Allison House, Mindi Kimbro, Kadence Rodgers, Deberah Sherley, Julie Stewart, Carol Vorel, Moira Watkins, and Carmen Wilton.
The library would like to thank all those that participated and Mark McClelland and Tower Extrusion for the donation of the grand prize.
