Big Luvs BBQ brings big flavor to Olney diners

You may have noticed a delicious smell in the air recently in Olney, a smell of BBQ as you drive down Main Street. If you follow your nose to 407 Main Street in Olney you will find Olney’s newest restaurant, Big Luvs BBQ & Breakfast. Big Luvs is open Tuesday-Saturday 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. and serving some Saturday evenings when posted on their Facebook page.

Big Luvs BBQ is owned by Ann and Barry Hodges who said they chose the location because it was the popular Silvias prior and wanted continue serving some of Silvias more popular menu items combined with BBQ and other delicious items. Barry says he did not previously own a restaurant but has catered and fed the homeless for the last 10-15 years which provided valuable experience for opening Big Luvs.

Big Luvs BBQ & Breakfast serves up many delicious options such as brisket, ribs, pulled pork, jalapeno white cheese sausage, Carolina coleslaw, mac & cheese and many more succulent menu options to go with the Famous Silvias fare. Barry said everything is made from scratch in house. The Hodges wished to thank the community for their support and looks forward to continuing to serve up great food to the Community.
