The Atrium at Hamilton Hospital celebrated its 6th anniversary

The Atrium Gift Shop opened its door in July of 2013!!! Over the six years we have grown in inventory and grown in familiarity with the citizenry of Olney, Archer City, Megargel, Newcastle, and even Graham. Patients and families that use Hamilton Hospital services often find themselves waiting for a few minutes in the lobby and with those few minutes they often look in the windows of the gift shop to see what we may have to offer. That usually prompts a ‘walk through’ to see what else we carry. Of course, the lion’s share of our customers are working at the hospital!!!! Y’all are welcome to shop with us anytime. Our hours are from 9AM to 3PM Monday through Friday!!! We carry lots of gift items, some nice tops (clothing), a wide assortment of essential oils, some nice jewelry lines and lots of baby gifts forthe small space we work with. We recently started carrying a new jewelry line called Sparkle Life which is sterling silver and Swarovski crystals

Last Wednesday we celebrated with refreshments, a beautiful cake and punch. We also had a drawing for two $25 gift certificates which were won by Carla Taack and David King. We had special sales going on all day and got to visit with many of our favorite customers.

We’re totally volunteer run and could sure use a few more ‘people’ persons to supplement our staff for both the gift shop and the nursing unit. If you have a few hours a week and you like people, I assure you that you will gain a lot more than you give by volunteering.
