Lady Cubs vs Graford Lady Rabbits

On April 19, the Olney High School [OHS] Lady Cubs softball team hosted the Graford Lady Rabbits. The Lady Rabbits ran away from the Lady Cubs early in the game scoring 6 runs to 0 in the first inning, a lightning and storm threat briefly paused the game for the two teams. Once the game resumed the Lady Rabbits continued to push their way to the win, outscoring the Lady Cubs 18-4, securing a Lady Rabbits win.

The Lady Cubs currently sit 9-12 for the season. Highlights for this season include a shutout against the Chico Lady Dragons 10-0, 24-3 win over the Bryson Cowgirls and 17-2 victory over the Hirschi Lady Husky’s.

Lady Cubs season player highlights include: #5 Enriquez, pitcher pitching one shut out, 87 innings pitched, 555 batters faced, 1620 pitches thrown, 182 hits allowed, 61 strike outs, 21 strike outs looking and earned runs averaged 10.46. #12 Mahler left fielder: 57 at bats, .421 batting average, .507 on base percentage, 24 hits, 12 RBI, 18 runs and 15 stolen bases. #1 Green, first baseman has 39 at bats, .385 batting average, 15 hits, 11 RBI, 18 runs, 12 stolen bases and 67 put outs. #4 Hagle, catcher has 46 at bats, .391 batting average, 18 hits, 17 RBI, 5 runs and 57 put outs. #7 Guerra, middle fielder has 43 at bats, .302 batting average, 13 hits, 7 RBI, 16 runs, 11 stolen bases and 12 put outs. #14 Torres, right fielder has 24 at bats, .375 batting average, 9 hits, 13 RBI, 14 runs and 9 put outs. #20 Scrogum, short stop has 45 at bats, .222 batting average, 10 hits, 9 RBI, 17 runs, 11 stolen basis and 28 put outs. #21 Hinson, second baseman has 49 at bats, .388 batting average, 19 hits, 16 RBI, 15 runs, 11 stolen basis and 35 put outs. #26 Aney, right fielder has 36 at bats, .361 batting average, 13 hits, 15 RBI, 14 runs, 6 stolen bases and 6 put outs. #32 Roach, third baseman has 41 at bats, .268 batting average, 11 hits, 11 RBI, 9 runs, 3 stolen basis and 24 put outs.
