The Easter Bunny comes to Olney

On April 10, MR. E. Bunny made a trip to Cub Nutrition and Energy, located in Olney. E. Bunny came to Olney at the request of Olney Chamber Director Deidre Brown. Brown was instrumental in tracking down E. Bunny so the boys and girls of Olney could take part in the annual photo event.

Some children loved the Bunny, and some screamed in pure terror, but all had a lot of fun at the event that included photos with E. Bunny, corn hole, Martha’s Street tacos, refreshing and energizing drinks from Cub Nutrition and Energy.

Brown appreciates the support of the community and gave some insight into upcoming events: May 14 - Olney Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, June - Quarterly Luncheon for Members - date to be determined, June 30 - Old Fashioned Fourth of July Parade at 5 p.m. and the second Annual Olney in America - concert with fireworks and family fun at the Olney Country Club from 6-9 p.m. Some dates and times are still being determined; please visit the Olney Chamber page for the latest updates for community events at, OlneyTexas.com
