Cubs Fall to Rival Panthers In District Opener

The Olney High School Cubs are battling hard this season and are 9-8 in the regular season before going into the district matchup with the Archer City Wildcats.

The Cubs hosted the Seymour Panthers for their home game district opener. The Cubs fought hard but fell short of the win, falling to the Panthers, 67-46, mainly because of the Panthers’ third-period rally, when the Panthers put up 10 points.

The Cubs host the Northside Indians for a non-district home game on January 16, beginning with the JV tipping off at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Varsity Cubs.

Fight on, Cubs!
