Don’t tell the students of Olney Independent School District that there’s no such thing as a free lunch: next year, every student will enjoy a free lunch – and breakfast too thanks to the OISD’s Board of Trustees.

Olney Legion Post 414 members, family and community members joined in with Post Commander Chris Garcia on Memorial Day in placing flags on the graves of armed forces members. Post Commander Garcia said it had been a long while since the Post had performed the event for Olney vets and he felt it was time to return to the practice of placing flags on vets’ graves for Memorial Day.

Approximately 500 guests gathered Friday, May 31, to commemorate Air Tractor’s 50 years as the leading agricultural aircraft manufacturer.
