Varsity Cubs lose to Pirates

The Olney Cubs Varsity football team traveled to Petrolia to play against the Pirates on Friday, Sept. 6. Olney lost the game but learned valuable lessons..

As the Cubs started warming up at Petrolia, everyone was very motivated to win.

At first it was a very close game and both teams were performing about the same.

Then Petrolia scored a couple of times and the Cubs lost 37-12.

Of course the Cubs have had better results, but they learned a lot in that game.

They still have a lot of chances, they will show everyone who the Olney Cubs are!

The Coaches and the players do have big plans for the season, they will give everything to achieve them.
