Parker Mayers Wins TRN Player of the Week

The Olney Cubs faced the Electra Tigers Tuesday, Feb. 5, in the Olney High School gym. The Cubs won with a resounding 67-32, although, they did not have as much luck in their game Friday, Feb. 8, against the Windthorst Trojans. Despite a valiant effort by the entire team, it almost felt like there was a forcefield over the basket. They lost the game 53-43.
All was not lost for the week when the Times Record News selected Parker Mayers as the Player of the week. Parker has scored 216 points this season. Good job, Parker and congratulations.
